I would like to thank Deb and the LDAF for helping me. I was incarcerated for 27 years of my life in a mental hospital because I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I am free now. I was released in December, 2016.
In January, 2017, the LDAF helped me get tested for Lyme Disease. For people that don’t know, Lyme Disease mimics Schizophrenia. I was correctly diagnosed with Lyme Disease and a co-infection called “Rickettsiosis”, proving that Schizophrenia was a MISdiagnosis. I am recovering and I am being weaned off (or being taken off) the Schizophrenia medications. I should be completely off these meds by July, 2017.
I am grateful to be alive and to having my life restored. I thank God for answering my prayers.
